About

I fell in love with photography in 1994 in the darkroom at The Haverford School. The first time I saw a photograph I took develop under the red lights and come to life, I was hooked.

My passion for photography has continued over the years, shooting 35mm film, to digital, to medium format on a 1941 Rolleiflex, and back to digital. But nothing has changed. For me it is all about preserving a certain feeling. When I look through the viewfinder, I’m not just seeing a scene; I’m searching for a connection. I strive for my photographs to evoke something in the viewer - nostalgia, joy, longing, peace.

Photography has become one of my greatest passions, for it allows me to preserve the moments that matter most. Through the camera, I capture not merely images, but pieces of life itself—the laughter of family, the smiles of dear friends, and the quiet moments that might otherwise be forgotten.

I find great satisfaction in knowing that years from now, a single photograph may bring back a flood of memories and emotions. To me, photography is more than a hobby; it is a way of honoring the present and preserving the stories and moments that shape our lives.
